Crushes
A crush is when one wolf likes another wolf. This can happen at any time, at any age.

Mates
A mate is like the spouse (husband/wife) of a wolf. They often stay together, hunt together, travel together, and do other things as a couple.

A list on mate information:

• Before getting a mate, purchase the Mate Permission from the Wolf Permissions Shop, found in the Gold Market forum
  
• Have your wolf be AT LEAST two years old if you want him/her to have a mate
  
• Know your crush (see chapter above) for at least a week in real time
  
• Gay/lesbian couples are permitted
  
• Don't force people to be your mate
  
• Once you get a mate, make sure its roleplayer doesn't show suspicious behavior or signs of stalking
  
• Obviously, you and your mate must get along well
